My "Religion"
Some groups have claimed names for themselves like "Baba followers" and "Baba lovers."
I do not belong to any collective group-think that these names have come to denote. And yet I follow Baba. How could this be?
Well if you came upon a man in Salt Lake City (where there is a majority of Mormons) and he said he was a follower of Jesus but not a Mormon, you might be confused. "How can he follow Jesus and not be a Mormon?" But that man might mean he reads the word of Jesus and tries to take them to heart, and even follow those teachings whenever possible, such as "love thy neighbour as thy self."
Well that is how it is for me. I follow Baba in so much as I read his words and like them, and, taking them to heart, try to live up to them if possible. But as for those who today call themselves "Baba lovers" I have little in common. In fact I find many of the things they believe to be antithetical to how I understand Baba to have meant his words. I could name many, but I'll name just a few.
Baba is in heaven, micromanages the world, constantly assesses your thoughts and actions, and gives boons if you ask for them or ignores your requests so you will learn a lesson.
I don't believe in any of that.
The Center and the soil around the tomb in India are sacred, and touching them can give you significant spiritual boons. They are magical sacred soil and the buildings on them are magical sacred buildings. Being near them helps you because the invisible emanations that radiate from them are spiritually healing.
I don't believe in any of that.
Christianity of all types is very bad.
I believe there are sincere Christians and that the "us and them, garden vs. jungle" way of thinking espoused by BLs is the very thing Baba came to rid us of, not other people's faiths.
